This 10-day Tanzania bush and beach safari takes you on an unforgettable journey through the country’s most beautiful landscapes. Your adventure begins at Lake Manyara National Park, a peaceful haven where pink flamingos wade in shimmering waters and tree-climbing lions rest in ancient fig trees. It’s the perfect start to exploring Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and scenery.

Next, you’ll venture into the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wilderness areas. Here, the Great Wildebeest Migration unfolds in breathtaking fashion as vast herds sweep across the plains. Aberdare

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park.

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 0800 hrs and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Marvel at the variety of species, spoonbill, teal, pelican, kingfisher, hornbill, and cormorant. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch on the slope of the Great Rift escarpment, elephants stand in the shade of the baobab; and in the acacia woodland, lions lie draped along the branches of the umbrella trees.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park. 

After breakfast leave Lake Manyara National Park and proceed to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, arriving in the afternoon. Take a game drive to this park with immense herds of herbivores, wildebeests, gazelles, and Zebras followed by predators on their annual migration to permanent water holes, offering a timeless spectacle unequaled in the world.  Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp

Day 3: Serengeti National Park. 

Morning games drive after breakfast. Enjoy the endless plains of Serengeti with game viewing, A magnificent experience awaits as you travel to the most famous wildlife park in Africa the legendary Serengeti. Here you might have the chance to see the migration, where thousands of zebra and wildebeest make a trip from the Masai Mara every year. Packed lunch is served and proceed for an afternoon game drive.  Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp

Ngorongoro

Day 4: Ngorongoro.

Morning game viewing drives then return to the lodge for breakfast, proceed further game drives as you exit the park, and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area via Olduvai Gorge – Proceed for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Forest Lodge.

Buffalo

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour.

Descend once again down to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the wonders of the natural world. An extinct volcano that collapsed around 25 million years ago thus forming a vast super bowl where the largest permanent concentration of African game is on display. The views from the top of the crater wall are absolutely breathtaking they are forested but four-wheel drive vehicles will take you down into this primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp, and plain that shelters around 20,000 animals. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle, and zebra depend on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black-maned lion, the leopard, and the hyena. The elephant found is the lone male. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck, and the few black rhinos that have taken refuge here. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingoes, and is a favorite place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden. The game drives are done with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Forest Lodge.

Zebras

Day 6: Tarangire National Park.

Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and proceed to Tarangire National Park for afternoon game drives. Many of the animals congregate around the only source of permanent water in the park, the Tarangire River. This is the best place in Tanzania to see really big herds of elephants of up to 300 at a time on safari. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

zanzibar 

Day 7: Zanzibar.

Your day will begin as usual by 8:00 AM after a luscious breakfast. The destination for today is Arusha to Tarangire National Park where you will have a half-day game drive. Tanzania’s third-largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe, and zebra. By mid-afternoon, you will branch out and head towards Arusha where you will be dropped off at Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar Airport. On arrival, our driver will pick you up from the airport and drive you to the beach hotel in Nungwi.

Diani Beach 

Day 8-9: Zanzibar.

You can take some rest and enjoy this paradise made of beautiful beaches of white sand and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. You will spend 2 nights at this incredible place.

Diani Beach

Day 10: Zanzibar.

Today is the final day of your holiday. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport or seaport according to the time of your departure back home or onward journey, replete with images and memories of your magical adventure.
